TRANS-MOUNTAIN TREKKING IN SIERRA DE ABANILLA

I was to day checking a new wandering  route which is situated behind the Sierra de Abanilla  mountain group. I will name the trek : Following   Rio Chicamo flow from Umbria till Mahoya. It starts from the badlands of Abanilla in Umbria and follows the River Chicamo through Cajer, El Partidor, Ermita de la Santa  Cruz till Mahoya.
The length is 8275 m, and the descent 120m. The time required to wander it is about 2h 30min.
And  the dinner in the evening after the  hard day's trekking is the Jaime el Barbudo one.

APRIL WITH HOT WINGS

In April we have chicken theme in our food experiments. Open fire , hot spices and colorful vegetables  characterize our spring time cuisine, and the menu is dedicated to a local bandit from the 18th century, called Jaime El Barbudo. Here is the MENU OF JAIME EL BARBUDO: Champignon (mushroom) soup ,  Pinchitos de longaniza roja (barbecued Spanish raw, red sausage with paprika powder), Hot wings with rice and for dessert, coffee prepared with open fire.
Also we will study and open  a new trekking  route following Jaime's footprints in Rio Chicamo, Abanilla.

VAGABONDER TREKKING FÖR DAGENS MENY

 Jag tackar alla de behagliga svenskar som visiterade vår gammal bondegård och gjorde
att  vi kännde oss också som gäster bland vänner. Jag är nöjd vid  Veikko och Doris, för att de  lyckade skaffa ett väder som var härligt och soligt ända till kvällslutet.
