Map of Los Vives, the old village of Jaime el Barbudo

Los Vives is an old village where today lives only some families. In the 19th century the neighborhood was inspired with fear when a famous bandit called Jaime el Barbudo was controlling the near-by laying mountains. Finca Sofia is situated in the end of Camino de Jaime el Barbudo.

THOR'S HAMMER

Finca Sofia's symbol is Thor's hammer. There is a big concrete hammer sign in the bottom of the canyon which passes through the farm.
The oldest part of the house have  maybe 100-200 years age. Under the house is a cave bar called La Tasca,and behind all this there is Frigga's Wine Cellar.
In the future everybody can find us in Google Maps.

ÖFVERBERG NEW GENERATION JAMBOREE 2012

I ,as the oldest heir of forstmästare Lasse Öfverberg have promised to the nearest of the coordination group that  the I:st (first) ever made Öfverberg New Generation Jamboree 2012 will be held  in Spain , in Finca Sofia (the name after my daughter Sofia ). Everybody is welcome , and the capacity goes up to 50, but only when I have exact and faithful details enough early.(no Greece system accepted).
Each coming to Spain need to arrange his journey ,when you are in Alicante airport, we take care of you, This will be a Jamboree not a SAD 5star(*****)hotel over night staying.
The daily menu will be mostly pork and vegetables. Drinks are wine and water.(no milk)All kind of season fruits are also available.Out of the menu snacks, long drinks, coctails and other beverages, you can find in La Tasca our cave bar.
Arriving Night we have fireworks and big Finnish bonfire.
Next day we plant a olive tree to remember our origin(Lasse Öfverberg). Also we pay attention to my dead sister Irma.(she has a chappel). Our bar La Tasca offers all kind drinks with prices between 1-2 euro.

We arrange theme "fiestas" like Viking,Mediterranean , Lapland , Finnish traditional food and Spanish seafood.
